About the Movie/Music Guide Pages
Our Film Philosophy
How Does A Film End Up Here?
There are so many films these days and it can be overwhelming to take them all in. Only the best films of any genre are listed on our site. We recommend movies that are for the refined-at-heart, who cannot be satisfied with mere fluff.

The movies we recommend always have a point to them. Either there is some moral to the story, a character grows and changes, or there is something in the story that stays with you after watching it.

We recommend movies in all genres, (modern, comedy, documentary, historical, period, etc), but we especially are drawn to period/lit-based films and so there are many of those listed here.

We hope that by looking around the site, you'll find a movie gem you may not have seen before. Check back, we are always adding new content.
