How and when did The Bookshelf website start?
The Bookshelf website started right here on Homestead in April of 2001, as a dedication to some of our favorite books: (Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Little Women, etc), and has grown from there.

What is the motivation behind the website?
Our motivation behind this website is very simple. We try to maintain a positive, family-oriented site that promotes worthwhile books, films, etc, while at the same time giving information on subjects and things we feel would be interesting to those who visit the site.
